Ok, I might be overlooking something here, but I guess asking won't hurt anybody: Where the heck do I see how many enemie units I will be up against? Possibly even which, but the count would suffice for starters.
Thanks in advance.

You can take a look at the clan's toughness in statistics and in the Gold Version you can also spy the enemy for 60 gp to see which units it battle-checked against you along with seeing the units the same way you see your own units

So, in other words, in the demo, there is NO WAY of knowing how many enemies you are up against, right?
What exactly is the Gold version, simply the registered one?
I think you should at least offer some minimal information, so that one has a basic idea what kind of power he needs to stand against. I've had the AI field five soldiers against me when I had only a single one, which is not very fun.

You can check which division the clan is in if it's a cup battle and comparing the clan's toughness to your own will better tell what you're going to face than just knowing the enemy count. Enemy with 5 poor goblins will almost definitely lose to a superb fighter. Clan toughness would estimate this.

The Gold Version is a soon to be released improved Full Version. For more information check http://www.battlesofnorghan.com/faq.htm

Ok, so you directed me a feature thad isn't in any version of the game availabe just now. Razz

Anyway, I think it's a bold move to charge an upgrade fee for something that should have been in the initial version in the first place. Heck, even the buttons are there.
$25 is already above the average price for a shareware game, which is ~$20.

Ah well, nobody forces me to buy it, you might argue, and right you are.

I agree with this complaint. I just bought the full version and, no offense, but it's kinda demoralizing to buy the registered version of a shareware game, then still seeing buttons grayed out because I didn't buy the 'Super Duper' registered version of the game. Seeing what units an enemy has isn't a massive feature after all - it sounds more like a patch fix than an upgrade.

But that's just me - I think it would have been better if the button wasn't there at all.
