Hello guys!
I brought the Gold editon of this game today and I have to say that I am enjoying the game a lot. It kind of reminds me of Blood Bowl but without the ball so to speak.
Anyway I just wanted to thank the creators for creating a wonderful game. I've always wanted a stragey RPG in the style of a "sport". In fact I have been a fan of the gender for a very long time and this game is whisking me away from Disgaea and Maki Kingdom which I was playing before I got BoN heh.
So, I've now started a normal diffaculty "type A" campain were my team Brutal Deluxe (yes, the player team from Speedball 2!) are currently on a winning streak with two wins. Currently I have two members of my team, One of which is a Black Night which I've just equped with a Two Handed Sword and the Minor Heal Spell. The Orc on the other hand just has a gaint Two Handed Axe. Both of course have leather helms and standard leather amour (made sure of that, after all two meele characters may have trouble vs. Magic Users or Rangers). I think I will proberbly hire a ranged character next, proberbly a cheap goblin or two or something.
Anyway nice to meet you guys, I'm off for another game!
p.s: Since it is possable to "MOD" of this, I think I may try and add a couple of new unit's on this game. Perhaps Mummy's, Skeletons and Zombies. Perhaps Mummy's hate "regular" zombies because they are "dirty pesents" or something lol! |

Thank you and good luck!
The graphics are loaded from a special compressed pack and the names of the races are practically locked. However you can modify a race's stats to reflect those of a skeleton or whatever. Only it will still have the old race's name and look. |

Damn ah well. Are you planning on releasing an add-on for this game? I only say this because there are so many more creatures you could add to this game. I would personaly like to see the Undead, Mummy's, Skaven, Kablot's, "ye oldie machine" like beings, Dark Elf's etc etc...
Just restarted my game under "Game B" rules and so far I'm liking what I am playing. 4 VS 4 battles are fun and my goblin is suprisingly handy which is a change from the normal lol. |

We have been planning Battles of Norghan 2. Whether we develop it or not is not yet certain.
I think you will find the 22 races to be quite sufficient though. I haven't had each of them unless you count testing.
Here's more information on modding. |
